The Bible is the most powerful book ever written. Although it was written thousands of years ago, its message is timeless because it's from God. The Bible, as a whole, contains words of comfort, encouragement, hope, inspiration and guidance. It provides personal counsel and practical help. In 2 Timothy 3:16, the apostle Paul reminds Timothy, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” The Scriptures also teach us how we can participate in God's work by becoming part of His family through a relationship with Jesus.
